Thank you for the responses. I didn't think to look at MIA or MCO (duh). We live in JAX, btw. I will do that to check *A. I do know that partners tend to only offer a certain number of seats to book with miles so I might be pushing it with 7.

As for getting 7 award seatson UA metal, based on the dummy bookings I have put together, it doesn't seem to be a problem out of EWR or IAD. Of course, that is using the top level of required miles which is 125K per person each way.

Since I don't have much experience with award bookings, I wasn't quite sure how to find flights that required less miles. We are flexibile in our travel plans, as we would be willing to go as early as August 2013 or as late as August 2014. It just depends on the flghts I can get. I have looked at Aug 1-Aug 13 and can see availability at 125K miles per person.
