I am sure there will be many other questions as the thread progresses.
Here are another couple (probably stupid questions)
1) Will there be 3 Airbridges for boarding at LHR? (I know T3 has, 2 for LD and I for UD on QF but haven't seen the A380 gates at T5 as I've probaly not noticed them or paid attention)
2) How long will the familiarisation flights/training take for Cabin Crew?
3) Will A380 licensed CC be limited to how many A380 flights they can 'bid' for as I'd imagine it would prove popular?

1 - T5C has tripple Airbirdges for the A380.
2 - I am not sure on that one...
3 - There is a requirement for us to fly on an aircraft type we are licensed on at least once in a certain time scale. So, for the group of crew licensed on it, there will have to be a certain amount of share for it. However, Mixed Fleet are able to bid for their trips, so if someone particularly likes doing LAX flights, then they may be able to work on it more frequently. WW crew can not bid in the same way, however, if the numbers of crew are smaller, then they will see it a relatively high number of times.
