Travelling soon, in business class, to AKL. Bought the ticket on the Air NZ site and saw that it was appreciably cheaper to start from DUB rather than LHR (even with the cost of the 'positioning' flights). Trouble is, Air NZ booked me DUB-LHR and v.v. on BA.

BA is of course not in *A, nor do they appear to have a bilateral with Air NZ -- so I don't imagine that I can get any Airpoints for these two segments. Also, I doubt that I'd be able to credit these flights to my BA Avios account, since they're on an NZ ticket.

Really hate to see anything go to 'waste'. Any clever or creative suggestions as to where I might be able to deposit these points / miles?
