taxi from airport to downtown was around 50 euro, as i recall. as to check out time, i think they limit late departures, but grant first requested. i know our hotel asked us when we would be checking out. i thought the question was so they could get a cab for us. we left fairly early530, as i recall. the taxi was waiting when we walked out the door and the driver loaded our luggage for us. the airport was pretty much not open when we arrived. had a cup of coffee, then walked half way to basque country to get to the gate.
