Currently staying at the Ambassador Opera Blu in Paris... during Paris fashion week, so no upgrade as a gold, no welcome gift, etc. interestingly enough the FD offered a business class room for 70 euros a night though.

Anyways, the hotel's computers went down during checkin so they had to bring out the paper copy of the daily roster of some kind. It noted that I was staying on CC Gold Points and the hotel was going to be reimbursed $89.xx euros per night, however the hotel is booked above 95%, so CC will reimburse the hotel at $575.00 USD per night instead.
