I am about to book my accommodations for a trip that includes several nights in Bali. I am interested in staying in the Ubud area, and have contact several properties. Among those that are available and within my budget are Alam Shanti and Kajane. I hope to obtain input from those of you who've had experience with these properties and / or are familiar with them for feedback.

At Alam Shanti, Indus / Narmada and Lakshmi / Saraswati are available. And also available are rooms at the Danu and Telaga Mansions at Kajane Mua as well as the Bale Villa at Kajane Yangloni. How do these properties compare? What about the specific offerings? Is there another property in the Ubud area that you would suggest (budget is US$135-175 per room per night)?
