And what do you think when you read a positive review? For whats worth it, I do find UltrRant's experiences quite shocking. But for me KL staff usually does a good job. Them being grumpy or unfriendly is rare from my experience, and what UltrRant describes there sounds quite extreme.

Assuming that you mean Melbourne, Australia, KL does not fly all the way to Australia. The last leg, depending on where you change flights, is code-shared on Etihad, Malaysia or China Southern. But also non-code shared connections can be the case on Quantas, Jetstar, or Thai.
