They should get you the 500 minimum. I flew BOS-EWR and was credited with that number. It should also be posted fairly quickly as well. I've never experienced any delays in status or bonus credited miles - whether it's UA or AC.

You may wish to request the missing miles through the appropriate channel in your Aeroplan account.
