Yes cws you make LCY sound idyllic but the poor connection times and availability issues sadly means we shall miss out in experiencing it. The lack of a lounge would only really be a concern if there was a long delay but in the end the safety net of the extra frequencies at LHR won the day.

flygod...yes we like to stopover in MAD as well. It breaks the long journey up into more manageable lengths and the tapas aren't bad either.
