I sometimes check the property I'm about to visit to see their suite availability so when I check in I'll know whether or not to ask for an upgrade. Well at the Panama City, Panama FS this week I checked in and there were junior and executive suites available. FDC said sorry, we're completely full tonight. I thought maybe they sold the last couple rooms between when I last checked and arrived at the hotel. Got up to the room and checked, sure enough the suites were being offered still. I called the FD, asked for MOD, and asked about what the website was saying. He was emphatic that it was an IT mistake, so I guess they do happen. I didn't get the impression he was lying to cover the FDC.
