As to your issue, Customer Relations should have forwarded your request to
Dividend Miles Service Center, which handles such issues and even has a Subject Line drop-down menu for name/address changes in the linked online form.
I wouldn't argue semantics with them. It's an "error" to you but a "name change" to them ... just say something like, "There's an error with my husband's name. Here's the docs. Could you please change it to his passport name?"
