I do not find that surprising as during the last IRROPS in FRA, LH did not even provide us SEN elite members of their program with rooms. And while in DE airlines must provide hotel rooms during WX, the penalties are obviously a lot more affordable than rooms...

As for ICN, I wonder how hard it would have been for the pax to get through immi for the night.

Jan 20th 2013? I was in F and told to find my own hotel and transport to hotel because all their partner hotels are full and they don't know which hotels are available.

Could definitely have been handled much better. But they just emailed to confirm they would reimburse me for my hotel expenditure and taxi in full (after some haggling)
