I won't go into exhaustive detail over my claim, but I got pretty quick service myself for the same weekend.

I put in the claim online via ba.com, and faxed my hotel bill, which included my dinner that evening, to them.

About two weeks later, I received an email from customer services asking me to send them details so that they could pay my claim, which they did quickly after I gave them that information.
