I think this is very efficient, particularly as a large number of flights were cancelled because of the weather and many claims would have to be processed.
Your realistic compensation claim will have had a lot to do with the speedy completion of it.
Some customers in a similar situation will claim for anything and everything including in room movies and the laundering of their undies. Then they'll wonder why it's taking so long for their claim to get settled.
