I havre recently received my BA AmEx card with a low limit. I want to buy some flight tickets that will be over this limit. I phoned the help line and they said there wasn't anyway of getting round this. However, I'd obviously like to get this spend on the card for the Avios and the companion voucher.

Any ideas? I've asked if I can preload the card but told it's not allowed.
