I have never seen anyone complain about the width measurement. It is the length that typically gets me in trouble. My Tumi 23 inch does not fit in the overhead wheels or handles out on Airbus or McDonald-Douglas equipment. Most kettles seem to have issues with the height allowance arriving with overstuffed bags whose contents have to be half-removed before it will sandwich into the bin. Given that your bag is 22.05 inches and that the baggage templates stress the length and height measurements versus width, you should be fine.
