I just noticed that Slingbox came out with new units - I thought that company was dead as a doornail Looks like they were bought by Echostar and have some meat and potatoes behind them, so we might look at this as an option as we can buy one Slingbox and ship it to Taipei, and install the other at my place in FL, then use the app to watch TV from either location and push it to the TV set over an AppleTV or HDMI cable.

No sense re-inventing the wheel with a product we don't know.
