That's disappointing, but not surprising. I wrote Hilton about their devaluation, and an hour later I got back an e-mail telling me how the changes were of benefit to me, and how I could use them in the non-peak season to use less points, yet they knew nothing of how I use my points. I was more disappointed at that canned response.
