Tivo Alternative - Has Anyone Tried This Device?
This question might be more specific to Taiwanese members or those who travel there often, but we found this product and thought it made a compelling alternative to a Tivo for the purpose of grabbing content from a remote cable input or cable company set-top box and pushing it across the Internet to a remote computer (which can play it on a TV via AppleTV or HDMI cable) or a remote TV via a second box. Probably not HD quality, but perhaps not bad especially if connected to a US cable line over fast Internet.
