Air France is pathetic. ACDUDE hit it right on the spot with people trying to avoid dealing with them - on any given day, someone is either on strike or protesting with some sort of job action.

Last fall, I called some friends who I learned were due to fly the next morning with Air France - but had not been informed of the planned strike. Air France was kind enough to get them rebooked on another carrier through their travel agent, but if they had not called , they would have flown to CDG the next day and been stuck there, c'est la vie!
