I noticed the exact opposite, especially at closing time when one man came in about 5 minutes before last call and was provided a very full glass of white wine followed a few minutes later with a second very full glass even though he hadn't started on his first.

They have harder stuff including one martini glass. A woman sitting next to me was drinking one and requested a second and was informed it would have to be delivered in another glass since that was the only one.
I found the lounge staff to be great, I'd prefer self pour but never had any issues with getting a refill.
