This would not be true, in the last two years I went to two all inclusive, Costa Rica and Jamaica and anything beyond 2 in the room was more money or more points. It ended up being better to get the second room for my 3 kids and have a little privacy with my wife. It did cost me 500K points each vacation.
At first it was only going to be my wife, me and the baby it required 60k points/night then when I confirmed that my parents wanted to go too, I look again and it was also 60k points for 4 adults. I just checked again on their site and confirmed this as well.
