Friends,
I have an upcoming connection through Frankfurt with a 24 hour layover (wanted to travel business class and the only award i could nab was with a 24 hr layover). I am flying in from Mumbai on Lufthansa , this Monday at 7:35 in the morning and leaving on United at 8:05 on Tuesday both on business class. I am an Indian citizen with US permanent residency.
I have read that there are some Lufthansa business lounges on arrival - Can I avail of that since I am arriving on Lufthansa but leaving on United?
If not what are my choices for lounges?
I have the priority pass - would any of those lounges better than the United red carpet ones? I will need a lounge with a shower for obvious reasons.
Can I get a transit visa to look around Frankfurt?
If not what would be the best way to while away 24 hours besides watching all the episodes of Homeland back to back.
Any help or directions would be greatly appreciated.
