I was on a 2-3 hour delayed flight in mid-late December, and they were handing out free headphones. However, when they came by for food/drinks, I had prepaid for a meal and snack, and asked to pay the $5 extra to get a beer, and the FA just said "Merry Christmas" and refused to take my card.

And the goodwill that instilled in me is actually pretty incredible.
