it is actually quite easy if you pay attention to this forum on a regular basis, since many many folks here are based in SFO and look actively for MR deals

i set up a RSS feed to my inbox of the deals posted here, unfortunately i still missed the recent CokeandTaco posting of sub-$175 fares to MIA from SFO

the fare referenced in this thread can be booked on several dates in May for $331 for 8300 miles. you can easily find it by searching the dates above, or a flex month 0-1 night stay search, on kayak.
