I was in SOBE Thankgiving weekend and am going back the last weekend of March. I am 46.

Score, twist, and Palace bar (if you want to call it a gay bar) are the only gay bars I have been to in SOBE but I never have a car and they are the only bars I know of I can walk to from my hotel.

Palace had a drag show going on when I was there and it is small but the outside seating is nice (It's on Ocean and 12th across the street from the gay beach).

Twist is fun but the one night they had strippers some of the dancers were trying to hustle and going around giving guys a back rub and then trying to tell them after the fact there was a charge.

I was at score pretty early, went after dinner and there weren't many people but it probably picked up later. The crowd was really young when I was there. I think there is another gay or mixed bar in Lincoln mall as well.

I wasn't that impressed with the gay beach. I was just as happy laying out at the beach and pool at my hotel
