It varies with airport. Some are set aside for a particular frequent renter. Some could be upgrade vehicles. At TUL they have two spots by the booth they put cars like the Camaro SS. You might see a BMW or similar vehicle there. If you are Exec Elite, as am I, it doesn't hurt to ask. It depends on what you have reserved, what the car is, and the mood of the agent.
