So I was helping my parents the other day do their first churn ever of credit cards, and after the 6th application or so I guess I started to lose focus. I was using my computer and so when filling out the application, the autofill put in my name instead of my mom's for the application. I didn't realize this till today when she got an email to her inbox that addressed the email to me, and also when the card arrived in the mail today it was with my name. Now I'm pretty sure everything was all her info, including birthdate, social and what not (I'd have to be a real dummy to miss-fill all those boxes), so I guess my question is, how do I find out for sure? And what is the best way to go about changing the name on the card? I did check all of my own credit reports and no inquiries from that bank showed up for me. Has anyone ever messed up their name before on an application?
