No no.... lets not mix up two different issues. I dont know all the details as Im now a retired fflyer... but as far as I understand, all RTW and One World Explorer fares ex-EZE are all priced in US Dollars. What is certain is that any US Dollar price quote must be converted to a Peso amount at the official rate.... so, unless the current RTW pricing in Dollars for Argentina has recently increased, there is a very good chance there is a very solid arbitrage opportunity.

I will dig a little further... I will call AA to see if they would accept AR$70,000 in cash to pay for a ticket...
