It's scheduled for a 738 from MPM to ADD, which seems unlikely for an equipment swap with an aircraft that isn't full, but who knows?-
My empty ADD-DAR flight on a 738 tomorrow got swapped to a 763 and routed via MBA instead (which explains why I can't OLCI). So yeah, it can and does happen.
Intra-African routes are regularly chopped and changed and combined to match capacity and bookings. C'est la vie.
