Ugh. If you're going to talk about deals like this, at least keep it in the family. Whether it's causation or correlation, deals seem to die when they hit the media*. Some kettle will start sending AP back and forth to Mrs. Kettle, get shut down, raise holy hell, and AP will go away. I don't have any problem with publicizing limited time deals, but bragging about how you're getting free money from Amazon just isn't smart.
