It becomes much less valuable for longer stays where GLON or AXON might kick in. But for non elites or stays of 3 days or less I think this is a great option.
Thanks for the heads up. Just cancelled my $195USD per night (three nights @ corporate rate) and re-booked with the points & cash deal. ^^
