Even if your hotel quotes you a rate in Dollars, when you check out and pay they must convert the Dollar rate at the official exchange rate and present you with a bill in Pesos, which you can of course settle in cash (Pesos). Same goes for airline tickets.
Thanks Gaucho. Just wanted to make sure. It certainly makes internal trips to places such as peninsular Valdes far more affordable as well as making Argentina a place to buy a One World Round the world ticket.
