I seriously doubt their impact - especially the former. Two passes / year is nothing. It's sole purpose is to encourage membership sales.
2 passes a year, times the gazillion cardholders. Remember, there are tens of millions of MP members, and a non-trivial % have the chase card (given that its heavily marketed). Lets say that only 5% of members (if N=10M) have the card. That's a million potential visits a year or about 3k a day. That's not trivial.
