Granted it's been around seven or eight years, but I've used it as an example outside of FT as how a wiki is supposed to work, well organized, plenty of user provided information, easy to find stuff, etc.
If Flyertalk is going to roll out Wiki use, that's a good one to model it after.
I don't think FT's new
wikipost feature is the same wiki feature you have in mind,
