It seems wikiposts had just been enabled in most fora, only MODs and Ambassadors are allowed to "participate" though:

Granted it's been around seven or eight years, but I've used it as an example outside of FT as how a wiki is supposed to work, well organized, plenty of user provided information, easy to find stuff, etc.

If Flyertalk is going to roll out Wiki use, that's a good one to model it after.
I don't think FT's new wikipost feature is the same wiki feature you have in mind, cordelli.

For those who are not familiar with FT wikiposts, Carol, our Community Director had provided us a live example:

While testing is in beta phase, only moderators are able to create the wikis.

We are very enthusiastic about the Wiki capability that IB has developed. It's a first post wiki, so the information will be highly visible.

Personally, I would really like to hear what and/or how our forum mods intend to take advantage of the newly implemented wikiposts in Travel Technology Forum.
