I need to cancel the return leg of a trip. Looks like I can salvage about $25 of value after the change fee, but the website looks like it wants to charge my credit card for $150, then refund $175 in a travel voucher.

Is this really how the online system works, instead of deducting the fee and refunding the difference, or charging the fee when you use the funds? Will a call to an agent yield different results?
