LAX is the easiest connection of any major airport. Chances, by a wide margin, are that you will be doing a T-5 to T-5 connection. 5 minute walk max. If you do go to T-6 you're looking at 10 minutes. The weather in LAX is basically the same everyday so you aren't going to have an incoming delay.
Agree! 45 minutes gives you enough time to stop by the SC for a bathroom break and cheap cocktail at LAX. T-5 is easy. Even if for some reason you have to go to T-6, that walk only takes a few extra minutes. Don't sweat the connection time.
