Well, that's a given. But it would mean in practice that groups may end up seeing a higher price than individuals. I suppose it's possible that airlines have discovered that in certain situations groups are less price elastic, but in most low marginal cost businesses, you think group discount, not surcharge. So maybe it is just a synching issue.
Just for my own curiosity, I'd love to know what's going on. Will the wonders of airline pricing opacity never cease?
