I'm curious too. Travelocity used to have last minute deals (site was travelocity.lmdeals.com but is no longer) that I used a few times.

Now, it seems like you can find airline fares, or you can sometimes find packages to a specific region by using departure city. But not the "just show me what's available" like there used to be.
