Flying BLR-FRA-DFW. Booked 3 business for wife and kids on LH for both segments using UA MP miles. It is 60K per ticket.
For 4th ticket for myself, there is BLR-FRA in business and FRA-DFW in coach. It is not letting me book this as mixed cabin by paying 60K for business class. It is allowing BLR-FRA in LH coach and FRA-IAD-DFW in UA business as mixed cabin business ticket.
Is mixed cabin using UA MP miles not allowed when both segments are on LH?

Looks like the option for me now is to book BLR-FRA in LH business for 50K and FRA-DFW in LH coach for 30K miles so that I can be in the same flights as my family. This is what I plan to do if LH mixed cabin award is not allowed using UA MP miles.

Any info related to LH mixed cabin award using UA MP miles is appreciated.
