Is that in case they come in the middle of the night and break into your hotel room and steal your phone because you took a picture of a scratch they may try to charge you for?

It is perfectly acceptable for me to go to the counter, sign the contract, and get the keys to the car.

I'll do the walk around and check the car, if there's any issues I'll go back in and ask that they be noted. No different then when I rent anywhere else.

I don't need to take pictures of the forms, I don't need to take pictures of the car and e-mail them anywhere, etc.
