For those who fly out of DFW, you probably know about the walk-through metal detector-only checkpoint at A23. The other day I was flying out of DFW and noticed that the larger-traffic checkpoint next door at A21 has had the MMW machine removed and that it also was operating with only the WTMD. Both checkpoints were open and operating with only WTMD.

I don't know if this is temporary (maybe the L3 machine was removed for service?) but thought it was interesting to note.
