Hello... longtime reader, rarely have I posted.

I'm looking to take a 2 week trip to Harbin, China, near the end of April. Would love to think of a way to turn this into an MR, banking miles onto A3. Departing from anywhere on the west coast USA, preferably LAX.

Any hot tips or thoughts on a way to do this? I don't necessarily have a target mileage goal (as many as possible), but do have a budget of $1200 max.
