I think we all know this is what all airlines say, but UA has to be the only airline where they are waiting at T-15 to cancel your ticket. I've gone thru ATL several times and made it 10 minutes before, never did I ever fear that they would give my seat away since they knew I had landed.
I will ditto this. Been flying DL recently and have had a couple of "close" connections at ATL. I am a no status guy, just on a paid F, I get to the gate, to hear "glad you made it Mr. XXX we have been waiting for you." They must track my landings, its happen three times in the last 6 months. Yes, as a GS UA has met me at my flight, but they have also just left without me with not a word from GS, when the delay was UAs fault, not weather, and I arrived right at departure time.
