Since I have as much hate to drinkers just like you do for smokers, I would suggest the same like drinking should be banned everywhere, if you want to drink, you have to go to a bar that is not in the property. Impose tax on alcohol just as much as on cigarettes. If you spill any wine on any surface in the room, there will be a 1000.00 a day fine, same as to those who puke in the room from excessive drinking. How's that sound to you ?

If people who are allergic or have asthma that are severe enough that would trager hospital stay, I suggest those people shouldn't stay in a hotel period.
As even without the smoke, whatabout pets in a room ? laundry detergent ? household cleaners ? As even with a non-smoking hotel, they are not going to use any organic or non-scented detergent, not to mention they will still use air fresheners even if it is a non-smoking room, as if they don't use it the room will still smell stale esepcially in the bathroom where most hotels do not have a window inside.
So are you saying those who are allergic or have asthma can't deal with smoke but everything else ?
