What I heard from night shift manager is that the guest was somehow checked-in during the day(by the general manager, he insisted?) without being recorded to the guest list. Strange. He stormed down to the reception desk and started harassing the other couple at the lobby who were also overbooked. We felt unsafe and manager hired a taxi to Staybridge, so we decided to leave ASAP without investigating further.
