He isn't the first traveler of any type to be arrested my the Port Authority cops for violating NY/NJ gun laws. There was a guy a few years ago who ended up stuck in Newark overnight due to flight delays and when he tried to recheck his bag in the morning, they arrested him for having an unlicensed firearm. IIRC, they dropped the charges because interstate travelers are exempt from local firearm regulations under federal law, but he still spent 10 nights in jail and the cops didn't return his firearm for 3 years.

Well, is he will spent in jail for 10 days? 10 days is not too heavy enough. He didn't go to prison. He have obey the laws, and if he doesn't breaks the law. He will go back to county jail to spent more days. He should get a licensed right way.
