No you cant change the location of it and i found it completely unusable as the driver. It's locked into the 'entertainment' system and it's on passenger side. you can move the screen right/left but as a driver i find it VERY hard to have a good look at it without putting myself in danger/distracted. It's very low positioned so you cant look at it and look on road at same time. You can listen to the voice and it gives a signal whenever you have to turn (altho VERY late).

I had it on the cadillac SRX too and it was a bit more usable but on this car i didn't like it at all.

I would take my own (i always bring TomTom 1005 world) and mount it on the window which is much better and safer.
