+2 I usually redeem miles for business or first to India, but rarely for coach (I will redeem if for a relative and the prices are high for what I need ... used 40K for a $1200 segment on SQ one-way, and relative didn't miss the points).

I've gotten pretty much close to a status level just with my India trips in coach, and got *G just with 1 RT at $1350.
