As stated before, the first row of EC on an A320 are nice seats. Are they $59 nice? .... that's a matter of personnal opinion and depends on how deep your pockets are.

I personnally would not pay $59 extra for a 5 hour flight, but I have no qualms with bothering my row-mates to allow me access to the aisle.
